Goals and Objectives
Our Lady of Grace Preschool is committed to provide a pleasant, safe environment in which the children can develop emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically. Therefore we are obliged to treat each child as an individual by discovering and meeting the needs of each child.

Emotionally- Children are given the opportunity to be with peers, learn to value themselves as individuals as well as members of a peer group.

Socially- Children are given the opportunity to share, to take turns, and to treat others with kindness.

Intellectually- Children are given the opportunity to experiment with a variety of materials that will help them in their learning process. Language, science and mathematical skills are presented in an interesting and encouraging way.

Physically- Children are given the opportunity to have fun, by participating in physical playtime in order to enhance their large and small muscle coordination.

Provisional Enrollment Policy
At the beginning of each school year, a Provisional Enrollment period of one month will be in effect for all children of Our Lady of Grace Preschool.

The Provisional Enrollment period offers the parents and staff the opportunity to feel mutually satisfied that the school program is beneficial for the child’s personal and educational well being.

Withdrawal and Disenrollment Policy
At any time, during or after the Provisional Enrollment period, if either the parents request withdrawal of a child from the school or the staff recommends disenrollment, a conference will be scheduled involving the staff and parents, in order to discuss the reasons for such consideration.

Consideration of a withdrawal or disenrollment must be in the best interest of the child and/or the common good of all the children attending the school. In the event that withdrawal or disenrollment is decided, the staff will offer recommendations to the parents regarding the type of assistance the child may need after withdrawal or after disenrollment occurs.
