Enrollment for Religious Education Classes
Grades 1 – 9: September 2010

1) Families, who have children already enrolled in the Religious Education Program, should have received Registration Forms in the mail this week. If you have not received a Registration Form, call the Religious Education Office at 203-375-6133.

2) Families, who have children starting first grade in September, or, who are new in the parish can call the Religious Education Office at 203-375-6133 for information and to request a Registration Form.

Sacramental Program for Adults

This program is for baptized Catholics, age 18 and over, who have not made their First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation. Classes begin in the Fall. To register for these classes, call the Parish Office at 203-377-0928 as soon as possible.

An orientation meeting will be conducted in September. The purpose of this meeting is to distribute literature, review the schedule of classes and explain the process of the Adult Classes.

Attention “Retired” Altar Servers
We ask that any altar server who has “retired” from serving at Mass to please, return your alb to the Sacristy or the Parish Office. Each alb costs the parish $85.00. Also, if you have been Confirmed, consider being trained to serve as a Lector or Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. If you are interested, see Monsignor Schultz or Deacon Rob.

St. Joseph High School: Enrichment Program for Eighth Graders
Math Camp: Build confidence on four levels of Math. Study Skills: Get ready for High School ahead of time. Dates: August 2 -13, Monday through Friday. For Information: Call Mrs. Woods at 203-378-9378 X 320.

Notre Dame High School: Enrichment Courses
For students entering Freshman year in any high school. Study skills, writing strategies, Math Skills. August 2 -13. Cost per course: $240. plus $25. for Review Book or take both courses at $450. plus $50. for Review Books. Space is limited. For Registration, Call the Admissions Office: 203-372-6521.

Young Men in High School: Discernment Group Celebrates “Year for Priests”
The Office of Vocations is pleased to announce the dates for the 2010 High School Discernment Group for Young Men. We will mark the “Year for Priests” by featuring different priests of our diocese talking about their own vocation and ministry. Meetings will be held at St. John Fisher Seminary Residence in Stamford beginning at 5:30pm and concluding by 8pm. The first meeting is Thursday, June 3. All high school boys are welcome. RSVP by contacting the Office of Vocations at 203-416-1513.

High School Junior & Senior Boys
Consider adding St. John Fisher Seminary to your college list of visits. It seems to be such a mystery what life is like in a house of discernment. We are offering the opportunity to live the schedule and life of the house for 24 hours.
