Here you will find regular postings of reflections and religious music which correspond to our liturgical readings and seasons.
We hope this can be a prayerful and enriching service for you as you journey through your prayer life.
This week marks the Ascension of the Lord. In both the Holy Day and Sunday readings, we are told that Jesus’ departure from us on Earth is not the end of our relationship with Him. “I am with you always, even unto the end of the age.” These words from Christ are joyful to us as Christians. In our most trying times, in our darkest hour, in our daily struggles – we know that Jesus is our guide and our salvation through it all. The Ascension especially places Jesus in the esteem and glory He so rightfully deserves, for his sacrifice on the cross. He is our King, and He lives and reigns on high forever. With this in mind, please enjoy this week’s musical selection; To Jesus Christ Our Sovereign King.
