I believe that you will be hearing in the media, that church will be given direction to begin a process of restoring public Mass. It will be with great joy to have people praying with me, and “Breaking Bread”. Like so many parts of our society this process will be slow and painstaking. I need your patience and your understanding. As I have listened to the video conferences regarding the re-opening of our church, I remind you that our first concern is to keep parishioner safe and healthy!
There are guidelines being developed by the State and the Diocese, we will need to create our own parish plan. We will need to adapt to changes created by the response to the pandemic. (wearing a face mask, keeping distance of six feet, planning when you will attend the Mass, and seeing these next steps as weeks of process)
We will continue to broadcast the weekend liturgy and there will be a continued dispensation from your Sunday Mass obligation as we go through the process of reopening our church!
I ask for your prayers for me and the parish staff as we adjust to our new ministries. I will begin sharing with you the plans as they are completed.
Weekly Donations – I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have been continuing to send their weekly donations to the parish! Your support of the parish is very important currently. Please continue dropping off your donation in the Drop Box by the garage, in church, mailing them in or online.
