The Season of Advent begins December 2/3. The calendar causes a very short Advent. We will have three weeks of Advent, but the fourth Sunday is Christmas Eve. Please watch the bulletin for further information, upcoming events, and several spiritual handouts.

If you are joining us for our parish “Thanksgiving Mass” we invite you to bring a canned good for those in need. We will be distributing a Blessing for your “Thanksgiving Table”.

Dear Friends,
Our parish is an older parish with many funerals. The parish staff is devoted to a ministry of service and support to our grieving families. Last weekend our parish experienced a very prayerful time in support of our families. The Annual Mass of Remembrance brought more than 150 together in prayer. We would like to thank Cathy Nucera, Matt Roumeles, and the parish staff and the Woman’s Ministry in serving our parish family.

I want to announce the appointment of our Parish Council. The Council will meet for the first time on Saturday November 11th. I ask you to pray for our Council members as they work as advisors to me in planning the future of our parish.
The Parish Council members are: William Dalton, Michael Galla, Patricia Gentile, Lesley Kostyszyn, Francia Piazza, Marie Radcliff, Rebecca Silady, Suzanna Zello, Patricia Schickler, Cathy Nucera-Staff Member.

Next Sunday on November 5th, we will hold our parish Annual Mass of Remembrance. We will remember all the individuals who have passed in the last year. We hope their families will join us for the Mass. We ask you to pray with us. Eternal Rest Grant to them O Lord!
