I want to advise you that we are going to be doing some work on our parking lot. We will be coating and lining our parking lot beginning on July 10th. Please take notice of sections of the parking lot that are being repaired. Please us caution while driving in the parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation.

Dear Friends,

We need to face several major challenges that are ahead of us. A challenge is that we are ending this year with a deficit of more than $70,000.00 in our Sunday Offertory Collection. That discussion will take place in September.

A second challenge will be re-structuring our Religious Education Program. We will be sending registration forms to all our parish families with children in grades 1-9. We need your assistance to spread the call to register during July. Please watch for our forms in your email. We will be especially seeking children who have been missing from class during the pandemic. We believe there are students who should be preparing to receive the Sacraments of Penance, Eucharist, and Confirmation. If you have a question, please contact the parish office 203-377-0928×113.

The next challenge during July will be re-establishing our Parish Pastoral Council. Please watch for further details in the coming weeks. We will be seeking volunteers to serve on the Council. We will publish a paper describing the Council, by-laws, nomination process, and activities. Please prayerfully consider your role in the future of the parish.

We are entering the last week of the goal-sharing phase of the Annual Bishop’s Appeal. I would like to thank the 163 donors who have donated or pledged $58,025.00 which is 86% percent of our goal. If we meet our goal by June 30th, the parish will receive over-goal funds. Please help us make our goal.

Dear Friends,

I would like to recognize the men of our parish on this Father’s Day. I would like to place you into the protection of St. Joseph. St. Joseph played a very special role in the life of Jesus. We thank you for the witness you have given your children and grandchildren.

Let us also remember our fathers who are deceased. May they be held in the loving and compassionate hands of the Lord Jesus.
