Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) help distribute the Body and Blood of Christ at Holy Communion during Mass as well as minister to homebound parishioners. Invitation by the Pastor is required to participate in this ministry. Eucharistic ministers must be at least 18 years of age, have received the Sacrament of First Eucharist and Confirmation, and be in good standing with the Church. The Diocesan requirements must also be met. To learn more about becoming an EMHC contact the Parish office 203-377-0928.
Readers participate in the Eucharistic Celebration by proclaiming the Old and New Testament in the first and second readings.
People with good reading and speaking skills are encouraged to share the talents of their voices.
The Diocesan requirements must also be met. If you wish to learn more and serve in this ministry, contact the Parish Office 203-377-0928.
The Parish Altar Servers play an important role in our Parish Liturgy. We would like to invite our children 4th grade and older to join our Altar Servers.
In order to help our children learn about the Mass and participate, I am looking for a few men and women! I will need your assistance in attracting the young, in training them to serve and also to help build a community.
If you are interested or have some questions, you may contact Msgr. Ryan at 203-377-0928 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
