On Divine Mercy Sunday 2017, Bishop Frank Caggiano announced an exciting new movement – The Face of Prayer – an online crusade that brings together social media, text alerts, and the power of prayer.

Joining the movement is easy. Simply text the word PRAY from your smartphone to 55778. You will automatically receive a response to confirm your subscription (standard texting rates apply). Each day around 3 pm, you will receive a text from Bishop Caggiano inviting you to stop whatever you are doing and to pray for a specific intention. All prayers end with an invitation to recite one Hail Mary.

Witnessing Our Faith Begins At Home

Parents are the first witnesses of the faith. What does that mean? How can parents witness faith effectively? Listen to Bishop Frank Caggiano’s welcome message and learn more about what it means to be a witness of your faith – first! https://firstwitnesses.org/

Firstwitnesses.org provides an abundant amount of practical suggestions, tips, and resources for parents and caregivers to provide multiple opportunities for faith formation on a daily and weekly basis. From how to talk about your faith, when and where to pray, the role of the family meal, what a Catholic home looks like, how to continue and foster family traditions that embrace the Gospel, and much, much more. In addition, parents and caregivers can sign up for weekly guidance on how to be first witnesses in ways of the faith that lead their families to encounter Christ in the home.
