Dear Friends,

As we move through June and vacations begin, we hope you will continue to grow your spirituality and witness your faith to your families. You will continue to be able to view our weekly “live stream mass” on YouTube, Facebook or the website. I have and will continue to place announcements for spiritual growth in our bulletin. Please take a look at the Amen App, Catholic Chat, and Catholic Central.

Enjoy the summer!

One of their areas of compassionate ministry to the people of Fairfield County are several programs on bereavement. They sponsor a program for grieving parents entitled the Emmaus Ministry. They also offer small groups for bereavement called the New Day Ministry. If you visit their website, you may sign up to receive the daily email entitled “The Healing Journey”. Please visit the website for further information.

Dear Friends,

Our Lady of Grace Parish has a compassionate outreach program for our parishioners when a loved one passes.

Our Funeral Planning Ministry joins the parish with the family while they are grieving, and offers assistance in planning the Funeral Mass. Cathy Nucera is our Bereavement Minister. She guides families in choosing the readings and music for the funeral Mass. She works with the family to have them participate in the Mass. Cathy can be contacted if you have questions regarding Funeral planning at Our Lady of Grace. You may reach her at 203-377- 0928×113.

Peace,

Msgr. Ryan

Dear Friends,
I would like to thank the 135 parish households, who have made their pledge or donation the 2023 Annual Bishops Appeal. As of May 12th, the parish has reached 68.19% of our goal.

Last year we exceeded our goal by 6% and received a rebate of $3000.00. In order to receive the rebate this year we need to make our goal by pledge or donation by June 30th. I will soon be contacting the households who have not made their donation. I ask for your generosity!

Peace,

Msgr. Ryan

Dear Friends,

This Sunday we celebrate “Mother’s Day”. It is a time for us to pray for our mothers whether living or deceased. It is time for us to say thank you for the many moments they have shared in our lives. There is also a group of women that live the roles of being a mother to us, that being Grandmother, Godmother, and those who share as our guardians in many other times of our life. May God care for them!

On behalf of the parish Staff and myself may we ask God to Bless all the Moms of our parish.

Peace,

Msgr. Ryan
