Dear Friends,

I have had some questions regarding masses next weekend. The Diocesan Office for Liturgy gave us clarification this week. When All Saints Day falls on a Saturday. The Holy Day is not an obligation. The mass propers will be prayed at. the 4pm mass on November 1st. The masses on Sunday will be the mass propers for All Souls Day. Any of these masses will fulfill your Sunday obligation.

Peace,

Msgr. Ryan

Dear Friends,

Many families make it a tradition on All Souls Day to gather at a local cemetery and decorate the graves with flowers or wreaths to remember faithfully departed souls, which occurs on November 2nd. Catholics in many countries honor and pray for the departed souls who may have no one to pray for them. Envelopes will be available on the weekend of October 25/26 to remember the departed souls and make your donation for “All Souls Day”.

Peace,

Msgr. Ryan

Dear Friends,

Many Parishioners have been asking about the “Wall Rosary” placed next to the Mary Statue in church. A parishioner has gifted the “Wall Rosary to our Parish. We are displaying the “Wall Rosary” as a reminder to all, that October is the month of the Rosary. We are looking for a more permanent setting for the “Wall Rosary in our church.

Peace,

Msgr. Ryan
