During this Lenten season we are beginning two prayer groups in the parish, The “New Daily” Prayer group is ready to receive your intention for prayer. You may call 203-377-0928 x117. You can leave your prayer intention and our “Daily Prayer” group will begin praying for your intention. Secondly, on Wednesday March 26th the Women of Grace will be starting a weekly Rosary Prayer Group at 6:30pm, in the Church. It will be an evening of the rosary, meditation and scriptural reflection. Please come join us in prayer!

Dear Friends,
In working with the four pastors of Stratford, we recently were involved in a discussion regarding renewing receiving Holy Communion under both Species. Each parish in Stratford will have to study and implement the process. I will be discussing the renewal of receiving the “Precious Blood at Sunday Mass” with the Parish council on March 22nd. If you would like to share your thoughts, you may make your comments in the Parish Suggestion Box outside the penance room. In regards to the offertory collection at weekly Sunday Mass. The first collection is taken at Offertory time, followed by the offertory procession. The second collection will be taken after the Tabernacle door is closed!

Dear Friends,
The Season of Lent begins on Wednesday March 5. Next weekend we will publish a 10 page bulletin to assist you in participating in a spiritual Lent. I will like you to be aware of 3 programs that will be occurring in Stratford.
1.”Into the Desert” Colin Petramale will lead the sessions on March 8,22, and April 5th. Saturday mornings from 10am to noon at Our lady of Grace.
2. Friends of 50+, A spiritual journey with Sr Kathleen Dorney, March 18th 9:30-noon at Our Lady of Peace.
3. “A Mission of Forgiveness” at Holy Name of Jesus parish Tuesday evening at 6:30pm beginning March 11, 18, 25, & April 1& 8th.
