Next Sunday on November 5th, we will hold our parish Annual Mass of Remembrance. We will remember all the individuals who have passed in the last year. We hope their families will join us for the Mass. We ask you to pray with us. Eternal Rest Grant to them O Lord!

Dear Friends,
Many families make it a tradition on All Souls Day to gather at a local cemetery and decorate the graves with flowers or wreaths to remember departed souls, which occurs on November 2nd. Catholics in many countries honor and pray for the departed souls who may have no one to pray for them. Envelopes will be available on the weekend of October 28/29 to remember the departed souls and make your donation for “All Souls Day”.

On Saturday October 14th, Bishop Frank Caggiano presented Charles and Melissa Lembo with the 2023 St. Augustine Medal. The St. Augustine Medal recognizes the recipients for their service to the parish churches. Melissa and Charlie lead our “Pre-baptismal Program” Melissa is a catechist and Charlie is an officer for the Knights of Columbus. Melissa also serves as a Reader and EMHC. We thank them for their service and ask God’s Blessing upon them.

Dear Friends,
It was good to see our families and children at our “Family Mass” on October 1st. Having our children at mass and being able to speak with them is encouraging. Each child was given a “Rosary Bracelet” to begin their school year. We ask the parents to be witnesses of Christ to their children.
A note of thanks to Denise Heady, Jenn Volturno, and the Catechists, for their ministry to our children and their parents.

We start today, Respect Life Month. We work together to protect life from conception through natural death. In our world this is quite a task. We will distribute a prayer that we ask you to pray daily for mothers and their child.
