Dear Loving Parishioners,

For all that attended Mass last Sunday, I would like to thank you for your warm welcome and kindness after my first two Masses at Our Lady of Grace. I felt your faithful spirit and I am excited to begin my journey with all of you. As Jesus said, I come to serve, not to be served. It is an honor to bring you God’s unconditional love and be a part of this community I look forward to getting to know each of you,

In Christ Always,

Fr. Paul Sankar

Remember you are beautiful and be Happy!

Dear Parishioner of Our Lady of Grace,

It is with great joy and gratitude to God that I have been appointed as the new Administrator. Before I tell you a little bit about myself, I’d like to thank the Bishop for trusting me to lead our church. I was ordained 1991 in India. I have been with the Bridgeport Diocese for the past 18 years working as a chaplain for Norwalk Hospital. It is my privilege to work as your administrator at Our Lady of Grace. I am a social person, and I am here to serve you. I want to bring more people to our church to see the goodness of our Lord. We will do this together as a church family. I would like to hear what your desires are for our church as well. I will make sure I am available to you and will be reaching out personally to each and everyone of by you by telephone in the upcoming weeks. I sincerely thank Msgr Martin Ryan for his steadfast faith and commitment of 14 years as the Shepherd for Our Lady of Grace and for his blessings and good wishes to me. I also want to thank the Knights of Columbus for hosting the “Meet and Greet” breakfast to welcome me. Thank you.

Outside of my ministry I enjoy playing tennis, jogging, pickleball, and of course eating…LOL. If you want to invite me to play tennis, pickle ball or enjoy a meal please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am excited to begin this journey of faith with all of you.

Sincerely in Christ,

Fr. Paul Sankar

Dear Friends,

The 2026 Regional Confirmation program begins this weekend. Teens from the Stratford parishes will be on retreat this weekend. The program schedule will be meeting for the next months and will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Fall of 2026. We have included the “Holy Spirit Prayer” in the bulletin this weekend, and we ask you to pray for our candidates each day.

Peace,

Msgr. Ryan
